Lake Lanier Fishing Report - June 6th - 12th, 2010

Hello Everyone -

My apologies to all for my lengthy absence from this report. My father passed away on May 15th, and as you can imagine, I was unable to get on the water for awhile, and therefore had nothing to report. I am writing this week's report in honor of my father, Alex, who instilled the love of fishing in me at an early age, one of the many things he did for which I will remain forever grateful.

Onto to the fun stuff! This week's Lake Lanier Fishing Report is once again brought to you by LanierMAPPED.com - Check out the new "How To" Video on our home page!! Local Professional Angler Eric Aldrich does an excellent job of explaining how to use the LanierMAPPED.com technology to truly improve your fishing. And now is really the time you need the LanierMAPPED.com information - the fish are pulled out away from the bank on key features off-shore - and we have those features on our videos!!

I was out on the Lake 2 days this week and really caught them. We caught fish on topwater throughout the day - all off of humps and brush piles on the main lake and in the mouth's of major creeks. I have been throwing Zara Spooks, Rico's, and mainly a Gunfish to generate my strikes. A medium to fast retrieve seemed to work best - anything to mimic the blue-herring shad skittering on the surface! I know some other baits are working well now too, but I can't bring myself to put down the topwater plugs when they are eating them so well!

Jimbo's Lake Lanier Guide Service is officially launched and operating - come join us for some fun on the water! Jimbo's Guide Service is powered by LanierMAPPED.com (of course!) - check out my website for all the details and some great pictures jimboonlanier.com

A new CBC Tournament is coming up this weekend!! June 19th out of Little Hall - SL to 3 PM. Come join us - Rich and I will be representing the LanierMAPPED.com team in the event. The last CBC tournament in May was also a great event and the church raised some much-needed funds for their youth ministry. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported this great cause! We look forward to seeing you all back at Little Hall this coming Saturday, June 19th for another awesome event. Registration is $100 per boat in advance, $125 at the ramp.

Remember gang, continue to use the JIMBO code at LanierMAPPED.com for a 20% Discount on all of our products!! What a great time to purchase main lake clips as well as clips at the mouths of the creeks. The topwater action is here and will only get better- be ready and know where those brush-piles are and the magnum spotted bass are hiding! For packages, I still highly recommmend Main Lake North, Main Lake South, and Six Mile Creek right now, along with the Four Mile and Two Mile creek area - you can really catch them off the LanierMAPPED.com spots in those areas for sure. You may want to check out the FREE Demo Clip on our website as well - I seem to recall catching some good fish off that spot recently!!

NEW FEATURE at LanierMAPPED.com - Contact me for a FREE ON THE WATER DEMONSTRATION! Yes, we will show you, step by step, how to utilize this valuable information ON THE WATER, ON YOUR BOAT for FREE! We can even do it while it is parked in your garage! Call me Today at 770-542-7764 to set up a FREE DEMONSTRATION!

Until next time everybody - tight lines!!

Jimbo
